What I'd like to see from the "RC" process, is a feature freeze. Whats
in stays in, whats out stays out. Bugfix only.
For example, look what happened with the SSE code. IIRC, it was pushed
out as a required update, and, turns out it didn't actually work on
non-SSE systems. LL was forced to rip it out and push another update.
What should have happened, is the SSE code should have been pushed out
in an RC, and then fixed in the next RC, rather than getting ripped out
as damage control. (Or maybe it just should have been tested within LL
on an Athlon T-bird in the first place, bleh...)
