This remains an open issue. With the first iteration, you will just  
launch the desired client and log in from the splash page.

It seems like a possible design for a future iteration might be to  
switch the secondlife: protocol handler registration to a small  
helper application that lists installed clients and launches the  
chosen one, passing the web login key.
