Because it is the latest version for which a patched solution file from
VWR-1151 is available. Is there another source where to find more
current ones? I'd like to work on top of the latest production release,
not RC or FL or beta. Have yet to learn how to get this to build on my own.

Duh, I knew it was something very stupid. Read and forgot about this the
same moment. Copied the lib, now the application builds. Thank you!
Only thing, now it won't run. Had to copy a few more dll's from the
newview directory into the ReleaseForDownload folder to have it start
without complaining, but now it seems to get stuck there. Only the
little 'Loading...' screen is up and gobbles all the CPU power from one
core. That's all it does for several minutes until I decide to kill it
in the task manager. Anyone else experienced this before and has a
pointer what to try next? Apart from advising to clear the cache, the
wiki ends there.
Thanks + regards,
Felix
