Well said, but I'd like to make a correction. IMHO the "project" is not
opensourced, the SL viewer code is open sourced, that's a big difference.
Like you said SL is LL's baby, they have their own internal SVN, internal
roadmaps, internal ideas for the future, etc..
If somebody wants an opensourced project, a sourceforge account is free ;)
Personally I'd love to see an staroffice, openoffice.org type of relationship,
but that's just me.
