I think just limiting the landmarks shown in the map to the landmarks  
in your "Landmarks" folder would make landmark management SO much  
easier... plus let the map come up more quickly since it wouldn't  
have to grovel through your whole inventory...

I have to periodically go through my inventory with the filter set to  
landmarks and delete landmarks or put them in boxes to keep them from  
cluttering up the map.
