What is needed for this is a standard shared distributed system, with
something like a global unified way of accessing the information, much
lite the system we today have for websites, There is no single
centralized inventory authority for websites. I don't see the need for it
for avatars. The area that is troublesome is the areas of economics.
distributed information sharing isn't a technical problem it's a
problem of economics.
