That's not how asset purges work at all - support misunderstood.

The assets that get purged are ones that aren't in anyone's inventory
any longer, aren't contained in any objects, aren't clearly referenced
from scripts (as with a hard-coded asset ID), etc. There are problems
with missing assets, which we're looking at. But there is absolutely
no system that intentionally destroys items that are still in your
inventory.
