[sldev] Easier window resize to custom resolutions?

Really want to be able to type the rez i want in the window size box.

a patch that would allow text input in it but the C++ code still ignores it 
Wonder if anyone else would find this a usefull feature to implement.

The window size box doesnt work at all in window mode on linux, hopefully we 
can get that one knocked out as well.
