No - that was were this suggestion has stalled - probably worth doing but only if the user can configure whether to have the IM tabs vertical or horizontal, so you wouldn't need an unpatch, you'd just need to make sure the appropriate checkbox was ticked or unticked (or whatever).

However, I was hoping to be able to switch between vert and horizontal modes in real time, but limitations in how the tab widget has been implemented means you may need to have to restart the viewer for any such change to take effect (and at about this time, SL made a mandatory source drop which has some missing pieces and didn't compile out of the zip file, so I didn't do anything more with this, then it was Christmas....)
