SL's dynamic, non-deterministic and network-dependent nature makes
performance tuning, and even debugging, next to impossible. There's
really no practical way to do an objective, automated, 100% repeatable
test.

Please do this. :) A "timedemo" like facility would make a lot of things
so much easier...
