Hi,
I found this piece of code in llviewerdisplay that can control the pre caching time before the "curtain" is pulled. So I tried setting it to 20.f which I think it means 20 seconds. However, when it finally finished loaded, I don't see a nicely rendered view right in front of me. Things start popping up one by one except that this time it pops up faster.
On the other hand, if i set it to 2.f and wait several seconds for things to render, I can see nicely rendered image and less time taken than 20.f.
Can someone explain to me what the precaching is doing and why 20.f rendering is still that slow?
Regards,
Qian Hao
