Sorry, let me clarify.  I was thinking that *whatever* was decided (by  
tweaking the XUI or settings files) to be relevant for the dropdown,  
whether that is just your Landmarks folder or all landmarks in your  
inventory, the text you type in the entry field would filter/search just  
those contents.  This is better than the current dropdown because you get  
substring searching instead of just prefix (which, IMO, is more usable),  
and you get to see your folders (based on your filter rules) if, like me,  
you can't be bothered to maintain a single Landmarks folder that has  
everything you may want to search for in the map window.

Anyway, just an idea.
