I understand, it's easy to get off on a tangent in email, and I was
kind of getting off on one.

Hmmm, so when you pull down the inventory you get your Landmarks
folder, but when you search it searched all your inventory? That
would give you the best of both worlds, perhaps. I don't think I'd
really care about where the landmarks were in my inventory in that
case, so having it go into a folder view pulldown is probably
unnecessary yak shaving.
Leave the more complex view for the inventory folder or the landmarks
floater.

You know, though, this does give me an idea...
What about making the landmarks navigation bar associated with the
map somehow?
Move the region search entry to the top, like a search box, and put
forward/back buttons next to it, and let it accept slurls or Region
Name (X,Y,Z) or secondlife: urls. Then you don't have to worry about
forward/back teleporting and stuff, all it would do would be move the
destination dot around on the map until you hit teleport.
Like, at the top of the map you'd have a navigation bar like this:
+-----------------
| (<) (>) [ Region (X, Y, Z) _____________________ ] (Search) (Copy)
(Teleport) [Landmarks _____ |v] [Friends ________ |v]
Layout not precise, but you get the idea, yesno?
