Don't be silly. If copybot had not been broken, incomplete, and  
horribly inconvenient, if it been built into the standard client,  
with right click "show source" and "save as" that worked like "show  
source" and "save as" in a browser (because that IS what "treat it  
like the web" implies) in a browser and let you trivially grab all  
prims and assets in a convenient form for uploading as your own  
product, then... yes... it likely would have.
