it's not really imporatnt.
If the sim name, or sim uuid, change. The current cache will probably
be useless and/or discarded and all texture downloaded again.
So what ?
Sim name rarelly change. it *may* happen and the textures will be
downloaded again. End of problem.
People clear their cache when any single problem occurs.
- i lost an item : clear your cache
- i lag : clear your cache
- my returned object was lost : clear your cache
- what's the meaning of life, anyway ? clear your cache
- hippo ? clear cache !
- i can't login : clear your cache
- i cleared my cache and i still have problems : clear it again
the texture cache lifespan(is it the right english word ?) is so short
that this kind of situation can be safely ignored, imho.
Also, when a sim change name, that's probably because of ownership
transfert, and the sim content is wiped anyway, so it's a good thing
to discard the textures entries.
