Which is why a lot of people stuck with MMC... the DRM made the first  
generation of SD cards slower and less reliable than MMC.

Um, yes, it is. It's been used for encrypted distribution of software  
for Palm OS. Which was a total failure even though it was at the time  
the de-facto standard memory card for Palms.

Actually, USB seems to be the winner.
