I hear ya, but unfortunately QA resources are one of the gating
factors right now. (If you know qualified, experienced QA people,
please nudge them toward our jobs pages! They're harder to find than
you may think.) Another 1.19 series release would spread QA even
thinner.

1.20 is getting much more scrutiny than previous viewers. Tools were
added to a couple RCs that provide LL with feedback on specific
problems, such as the viewer pauses. A line was drawn in the sand as
to where the overall crash rate should be, and that's been met.
Feedback about one of 1.20's key features has also resulted in the
release being held up for a pretty significant rework. I think some
other "safe" features are being trickled in just to try and reduce the
significant changeset that would have gone into 1.21.
