Rob Linden (Rob Lanphier),

Would you please unmute me on Jira. If you could also point out where I
went wrong, that would be helpful to me and other SLDEVs to avoid making the
mistakes I made. I appreciate participating in Jira, and am willing to
comply if you would be so kind as to clarify.

I attended a SLDEV meeting several months ago where you invited SLDEVs to
participate in Jira. And earlier months before that time, I would receive
messages encouraging me to use Jira as someone who used the previous system.
I followed along and participated fine until I decided to vote for and
support with comments on SVC-1581 titled ModifyllGetPrimitiveParams behavior
to fail if copyright conditions are not met.

I think the problem with SVC-1581 was that Ann Otolle was arguing in favor
of it, so many of the Jira regulars were in opposition. Nevertheless I
continued to make arguments in favor of SVC-1581, and after a month Ann gave
up and closed it. Jira SVC-1581 probably got on the radar a couple weekends
ago when I kept reopening it after Harleen Gretsky would keep reclosing it.
Torley Linden then added this first Linden comment:

Useful discussion is appreciated, back-and-forth arguing is not.
We'll leave this as "Won't Finish", please don't reopen it -- continued
disruptive accounts which waste time & energy for others will have their
Issue Tracker posting privileges removed.

I messaged Torley inworld to let him know that I am careful not to dissent
from Linden policy, so I removed my comments on that Jira. Then I received
a message from Ann Otoole about being careful as the Lindens will tamper
with ones L$ account, and there being a drug problem at Linden Labs, and
somebody being in jail for a weekend on possession, and something about
p-jira, and investors, and her going to the press. I forwarded that message
to Torley, stating Anns comments were out of my league. Torley did not
reply, but I did notice he accepted the notecard when I was online.

I felt that issue of SVC-1581 (regarding methods for increased copyright
protection) is important, but was absolutely squelched by non-lindens
manipulating the Jira system. I knew I was not the only person who had
been treated this way (from very carefully watching this past year). So
for the last two weeks, I began to place the following comment on fitting
occasional Jiras:

Rights Watch by PM Sands
Improved Jira Review Advocacy
Your vote and opinion should not be suppressed. Sometimes non-Lindens try
to manipulate our Jira process. If you feel a Jira page was treated
unfairly by a non-Linden you are welcome to free help at:

 <http://secondlifepmsands.com/rightswatch.aspx>

I probably placed that on less than 10 jira pages over the last couple
weeks. It helped citizens. The last jira I placed it on two days ago was
<http://jira.secondlife.com/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?name=Gigs+Taggart> Gigs
Taggarts SVC-114. Today I noticed, I can no longer leave comments on Jira
with my account PM Sands.

Well, I could continue Rights Watch via alt accounts, but I do not want to
go rouge. I appreciate being an SLDEV and participating in Jira. If you
would please be so kind as to enable my Jira comment ability, I would be
grateful. And if you have another moment to clarify if I should not
continue Rights Watch, I will comply.

Thanks in advance for the advice,
