[sldev] Changes to eliminate storage wasted by single-use, temporary assets.

The Second Life 1.22 Server Update blog post lists "Changes to eliminate
storage wasted by single-use, temporary assets." as a change to the
simulator. I cannot seem to find out anything regarding the feature itself,
what it effects, etc. The only reference I was pointed to is an extremely
obscure mention in another post on SLDev.

Is this a new feature? A way to llDie() attachments? A specific function
to attach an attachment from task inventory in a way that it can be
destroyed? Calling llDetach() on an attachment that is set temp-on-rez
still saves the asset to inventory, so I'm assuming that isn't the intended
change.

Searching the full text of SLDev (for several months back),
wiki.secondlife.com and lslwiki.net and several google searches turned up
absolutely nothing useful. Did a similar search on the Jira and once again
came out empty handed. Anybody have a clue here? ;-)
