I must be missing something, because I don't see anywhere that they
say they're going to separate landmarks from inventory. (I'm assuming
that by "separated from Inventory", you mean that landmarks would no
longer be in the inventory at all. Correct me if I'm wrong.)

My impression is that it's simply another, easier way to manage
landmarks that are in your inventory, analogous to the current
Gestures manager.
