This is worth calling out as a separate item.  Those of us working on
Linux may want to chime in with our two cents every so often.  It looks
like the instigators of this list are going to be focusing on  "defining
requirements and possible layouts for below-upstream repositories" at
first [1], but members of the group could probably be nudged into
coordinating cross-desktop standards that are useful for upstream projects.
