Let me summarize my answer again: It doesn't matter.  The GPL doesn't
allow it even if the library's licenses do.  Linking (even dynamically)
a closed source library and distributing it as part of a GPLed work is a
violation of the GPL.

Even if the KDU license said: "Feel free to use this any way you want",
you still couldn't use it with a GPLed work, since you can't satisfy the
GPL requirements for source code availability of the closed library.

The chance of you getting any even semi-official answer regarding
licensing on this list from a Linden are pretty low.
