[sldev] Help getting started

Thanks for the reply Merov,
Actually, I've made some progress. I was using VS 2008 on XP Pro. I have
reinstalled VS 2005 and manually added the cygwin directories. I now
reportedly get a successful rebuild. When I start debugging, the media test
app launches and gives media events in the console display as I move the
mouse around over the Windows part. But the viewer doesn't launch. In
fact, I can't find it. LOL. So, I'm sure it's operator-error at this
point.
I just noticed that installing the Server SDK didn't put anything in the
directories. So I have some work to do.

Hi Shorahmin,
You having problems linking (llworldmipmap_test) or running
(llagentaccess_test_ok) unit tests. I'm gathering from the boost lib you
refered to that you're building on Windows. There isn't much more I can tell
though.
Could you let us know which platform you're building on, which build
environment you're using, which scripts you're relying on among those we
provide, and which target you're trying to build (RelWithDeb?).
Cheers,
- Merov

Thanks Merov and hi to everyone,
Here are three examples of the error types I'm getting.
fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'libboost_signals-vc90-mt-gd-1_39.lib'
llworldmipmap_test
error PRJ0019: A tool returned an error code from "Generating
llagentaccess_test_ok.txt" llagentaccess_test_ok
error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "__declspec(dllimport) public:
__thiscall std::_Container_base::_Container_base(void)"
(__imp_??0_Container_base at std@@QAE at XZ) llqtwebkitd.lib
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Shorahmin
