[sldev] Script/Parcel/Memory Limits - Memory Limit Configuration

Hi Everyone, first post for me, although been reading this list for some
time :) I now post as I'm obviously missing something in the plans for
script limits!

Firstly, the plan seems logical to me.....

1. Each parcel has a set limit, we can all see how close to limit we are
- Sounds very much like prim limit to me :P
2. Each Avatar has a set limit - Hurrah, no more AV enters sim... sim
lags out for some minutes until they go....

So, I fail to see the problem with this.... at least until we really can
see the actual usage with the tools.... and then maybe we can argue with
added knowledge....

As for dynamic allocations....... If we did that, then why not do same
with prim limits ? Heh, this was probably argued before my time....
but clearly we manage ok within the prim limits set, so we can probably
cope with script limits per parcel too......

I do have one question, which I may have missed answers to before.....
How will a resident who has 23k left in their parcel know which of the 5
different security devices will run without issue on their parcel ?
Will we be able to see the memory usage somehow before purchase ? Or
will we/they have to rely on an honest vendor who is clearly stating
memory use on their packaging ?

Thanks for reading, and please don't shoot me down in flames unless you
provide a fluffy pillow to land on :)

Charlie.
