[sldev] Improving Existing Prim Modeling Tools

Back in late August of last year, Qarl put up two Jiras to try to read
people's opinions. One was in favor of improving exiting prim modeling
tools, and the other was working on mesh importing.

With almost 500 votes cast, the winner was mesh import by almost 4:1.
(Forgive my math, please)

To me, it seemed that was the natural progression, working into meshes
next. And I couldn't wrap my mind around how LL would improve existing
prim modeling tools.

Then recently, I had one of those realizations -- where you complain
for the upteenth time you with wish some feature existed, and then
realize that you can make a Jira about it! Sure, nothing will ever
happen, but at least the idea is out there.

I've added four features that I find useful when working in big-name
"professional" 3D modeling applications (Maya, Max, etc) that I've
found myself wishing SL had.

https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-3102
 * Add Orthographic / Isometric Views to the View Menu
 * Allowing Editing the Location of the Pivot Point
 * Hide Gizmo" Option in the Edit Window
 * Add Option for Full White Ambient Light to View Textures Unaltered by Light

> 4. a 3D build window that will let you see more then one side at a time when
> a person is doing edit of more then one item.

Ok, five features. Thanks Bill!

So if anyone was wondering like I was how SL could improve their
existing tools, there's one way: steal from existing 3D applications.
