[sldev] [HELP] [Linux] Warning while building 113976-RC

I'm going to compile the current RC from sources on Linux Ubuntu 8.10.

I just extracted the archives and ran develop.py script. I got not
errors but this warning:

  Cannot generate a safe linker search path for target secondlife-bin
because

    link library [libGLU.so] in /usr/lib may be hidden by files in:
      .../113976-RC/linden/indra/../libraries/i686-linux/lib_release_client

  Some of these libraries may not be found correctly.

BTW, libglu1-mesa-dev (7.2-1ubuntu2) is on my system.

Should I worry about this kind of messages? report it on PJIRA? 
Is something missing/broken on my system in a critical way, or can
I ignore this?
