[sldev] Odd warning signs that a release is coming

I just thought I'd note, as an aside...

It's odd. Even if i do not watch the dev schedule, I always know where there 
is an imminent client release. Why? My crash rate goes waaaay up! This 
happened before the het grid when I was on a mac, in between when I fought 
with Vista, and even now on the Linux client (plz make a 64-bit build, I 
simply can't get it to build no matter what I do).

This time, my sound quit working (used to work) and it would occasionally go 
down about twice a week without warning, and without taking X with it. Weird, 
huh...
