No snowglobe-data is a dependency and is built off the same snowglobe
source? the repository should have everything that is not in a
standard karmic release of ubuntu.

The recommends are in the full unrestricted ubuntu repository
(non-free), as thats got the various win32 codecs and other decoders
that are needed if you want to play all video in world via gstreamer.

Is it the recommends that are causing the issue here?
