Just a quick note -- this can apply. While LL recognise and respond to 
foreign DMCA requests, they do not legally have to. If you are a 
resident of a country without a specialised recent copyright treaty with 
the US (eg, Australia has one of these), then you have to go the old 
route for reporting copyright infringement which usually involves lawyers.

It only gets worse if your living in a country which is not a signatory 
to the Berne convention, in that case - you need to file the copyright 
in Linden Lab's jurisdiction.
