Better maybe, but much more complex to implement, and for users to deal
with. How would you even know which one of the 15000 prims with 6 faces
each in the immediate vicinity initiated the request?
If it comes down to not having this due to excessive UI work that is
perceived to be required, then I think most of us here would rather have
it with global opt-in/opt-out than not have it at all. We shouldn't
overcomplicate things, especially when they don't even exist yet.
