[sldev] Compiling under VS2005

Alissa/Dirk,

thanks for the suggestion ... but in fact retracing these
steps was what I wanted to avoid :-)   I don't need VS2005
and was just cleaning up the Wiki for VS2003 and tried to
make the _vc8.vcproj files work.

Turned out it took a lot longer than converting the stuff
manually, but I really hate chores like this done manually
and I'm hoping to build a set of _vc8.vcproj files and try
to push them inside the release build, because ... well ...
I better keep my mouth zipped in this particular area :-)
