[sldev] [VIEWER] GUI xml documentation and/or insights

Hi Alissa,

Thanks for pointing out the disconnect.  We're having a conversation
about how to provide the right level of encouragement, given where we're
at today in our ability to accept contributions.  We don't want to scare
anyone off or discourage anyone, but we want to make sure everyone has
the right expectations of what we'll be able to officially incorporate
in the near term.

Given what you've heard from Jaime, what would you recommend we put on
the linguistic QA wiki page?
