[sldev] A forum

This mailing list is forum-ish, if your email program supports
threading. Under Gmail it looks like a huge forum with only one
"category" for every subject, and I have it all go into its own
category/folder on arrival so it doesn't spam the main inbox.

Using email vs a web board does seem a step backwards rather than
forwards, but a web forum would likely invite more posting from irate
users.

I think LL is using this mailing list more as a bozo filter than
anything else. The common blog comment whiner and complainer is
apparantly not aware this list even exists or how to subscribe to it,
so they just regularly spam the blog with complaints but don't know
how to do it here.
