because you often need BOTH shapes at the same time (both shoes) and  
this eliminates half of the necessary sculpt maps.

i'm not aware of any typical use cases where you need two sculpt maps  
for exchanging channels.  not to mention that (as i said) exchanging  
two channels is equivalent to one mirror + one rotation.

because algebraically all the other mirrors can be achieved with  
rotation + mirror + rotation.
