[sldev] maint-render-10 crashes at launch, can't create texture

It's msvs 2005 pro. I'll check the asset urls tonight, but i'm sure
that's where i got the assets from. excelt for llkdu.dll, which i
dl'ed from the latest src download because it wasn't included.
