Merov: what Maggie's talking about is that people were using the map  
tiles by UUID as textures on the surface of prims to create in-world  
maps for a variety of purposes. When the way the tiles were generated  
changed, that apparently broke content... there was discussion about  
it on the forum and Philip Linden came in and pointed out that using  
the tiles in-world was never supported.
