[sldev] VWR-10311 Enabling lip sync by default

How ridiculous that anyone would consider forcing the default to enabled on anything that would increase CPU or Bandwidth.

All defaults should be OFF on anything that compounds the problems related to system compatibility and ISP efforts to kill utilization. Such as voice.

I agree Mike, the lipsync should not even have an additional control
point to further load an already overloaded UI. I think what I was
trying to say actually is that when somebody enables voices, it should
come on automatically. I guess I was just trying to find a middle ground ... for those who did not want it

Dear Gordon,
I am afraid 'for the record' is not enough. It is helpful if you support your vote with a reason unless it is weak.

Yes, lipsynch should be out of 'advanced' and yes it is not be on by default. Settingit on could accompany the dialog box for media player for eg.

And *your* reason for saying that it should not be on by default is?

Remember, that if voice chat is disabled, so is the lip sync, but if voice chat is enabled, you still have to use another setting to enable lip sync. How is that useful?

Mike
