There are several post in JIRA requesting a new feature to get the
avatar keys in a simulator:
http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-215
http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-805
http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11683
maybe there are more but those are the ones im aware of. Indeed this new
feature would remove the need of probes for simscanners, reducing lag,
but LL doesnt seem interested to make it happen.
Feel free to vote them!.
