 From what I can see, I think at least some of the people who don't like 
the idea, don't like it because of LL's track record. That's why *I'm* 
not terribly excited one way or the other, anyway. Yes, a list of "safe" 
viewers is a good idea, as is banning people who do things against the ToS.

What's not good is the very high potential for such a thing to be 
handled badly, such as banning an innocent user whose viewer gets 
targeted unfairly, such as in the case of a bad viewer spoofing itself 
as a good one, leading to the good one getting black listed. In the 
past, LL has not been very good at handling such serious and delicate 
matters (traffic bots, gambling, sexual ageplay, and other banned things 
are still around, for instance), so a lot of people are cynical about 
future improvement.
